VW Aircooled Coffee Table

I had a old engine in the garage that was just getting in the way.

So what better to do with it than turn it into a table.

The engine was stripped de-greased then Vapour blasted and finally coated with a coat of VHT silver paint.

The barrels and pistons were also cleaned. The barrels had a coat of black VHT paint and the pistons were coated in ACF 50.

The custom brackets were made by John at 54 Metal and he did a amazing job.

I just need to convince the boss we should be able to keep it in the living room.If the boss says no the table will be going on eBay.
